Season 2010/11 - read the new brochure

Hot off the press (in fact at the time of sending, still ON the press) is our brand new Season 2010/11 brochure - 32 pages on everything that's coming up at the Lyceum over the next 12 months or so.

You can view the brochure online now, and in the next week we will take delivery of the paper edition - if you would like a copy sent to you please email our Box Office - boxoffice@lyceum.org.uk

As well as carrying full information on the shows in Season 2010/11, the brochure also contains details of the Lyceum Season Ticket and the application form for getting a Season Ticket of your own.

In brief though. if you love theatre, and want to see more of it, then the Lyceum Season Ticket is for you - by becoming a subscriber you'll see every show in our season, and you'll do it from the best seats and at a bargain price!

  • save up to £35 compared with full price tickets
  • under-18/student season tickets available
  • get the best seats in the house for every show and get first refusal the following year
  • get your diary sorted for the year, but change dates quickly and easily if need be.

Christmas at the Lyceum - The Snow Queen

Whatever the weather outside, we can promise a white Christmas inside the Lyceum this winter!

From her ice palace at the very top of the world, the wicked Snow Queen plans to turn everything to winter

She starts by casting her spell over one little boy, Kay, turning his heart cold and letting him see only misery and ugliness in the world. But Kay’s friend Gerda undertakes a quest to save him – and the rest of mankind – from eternal chill!

Guaranteed to put warmth into the coldest of hearts and suitable for ages 5+ (plus adults too, whether they’re grown up or not...)

The Snow Queen is directed by Mark Thomson and stars Allison McKenzie (Macbeth, River City) in the title role.

The Lyceum Youth Theatre is pleased to offer young people from across Scotland the opportunity to work towards two exciting shows on the Lyceum stage.

A play that shows that rock'n'roll is truly the answer to all life’s problems.

A Vampire Story
by Moira Buffini
Directed by Steve Mann

A tale of two mysterious young women who travel to a small British town. (Strong language and mature themes. Recommended for ages 12+)
